Pastor Sly, known as
“Bob” to nearly everyone in the greater
Carthage-Watertown area, is a Christian musician of
creditable standing in musical communities as well
as being founder of The Way Inn Christian Music
Center.
“One Step Closer,” a second collection of
Christian music in song and guitar containg 11 songs
(10 originals) is expected to be released this
spring. The tape is complete and has been delivered
for transfer to CD, and features more inspiring
music from Pastor Bob. Details and availability will
be announced soon.
A previously released
collection of all-original Christian music he wrote
and performed was titled “There’s Peace”
and contained 11 heartfelt tunes.
Together with Harrisville
resident Rick Mashaw and other folks on occasion,
Bob’s Heavenbound Gospel music program travels to
area nursing homes, hospitals, Christian coffee
houses and farmer’s markets, special events and
elsewhere as time and opportunity allow.
