It's
ironic that we titled this recording "The Light
of Home". At the beginning of production we sold
our home and had to move out within two weeks. We
hadn't yet decided where to move so for the 1st month
we just lived in hotels, on our bus, with friends
& family. Every week was a little different. We
then purchased a home but it wouldn't be ready to live
in for another 4 - 6 weeks! Its very unsettling not
having a home. You feel like a stranger. You feel
un-rested and unorganized. It made me realize that
this world isn't really a home for the child of God.
We truly are just passing through. If you know the
Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior then one day
we'll all be at home with Him. An eternal home of
paradise where there's no tears, no death, no sorrow,
no crying, no pain, no sin, no corruption and no
darkness. God's Word says in Revelation 21:23
"and the city had no need of the sun, neither of
the moon, to shine in it; for the glory of God did
lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Jesus
is the Light of Home now and forevermore. Praise His
Name!
As I'm
writing this foreword we're in the final week of
production and we're finally moving into our new home.
We even did the photo-shoot for this cover in our
foyer. But one day very soon we'll be making a much
greater move to our eternal home prepared by God for
His children. I hope you've made preparations to
"make the move" with us. May Jesus always be
the Light of your Home

I want to
thank my girls, Kelly, Amber and Autumn. What a
privilege and blessing to be able to serve the Lord with
my entire family. Amber & Autumn - I'm so proud of
you both. You've worked so hard this summer at the
church, moving, and on this record. I know it's been
hard but you've been the best daughters your mom & I
could ask for. Kelly thank you for the endless
sacrifices you make on my behalf. I could never repay
your tireless efforts at being a mom, wife, teacher,
singer, etc Thanks for being supportive through every
transition in our life & ministry. I realize this
move in life & ministry have probably been the
toughest on you. I love you more everyday.
I want to
thank our church family at Grace Baptist Church for the
continuing love & prayers. Thanks to all in the
music ministry at Grace for allowing Kelly and I to have
a small part in developing your gifts and talents.
Thanks to Pastor Martin and all the pastoral staff for
the opportunity to serve at such a visionary church!
Special thanks to Bruce and Terry for making our home a
reality. Kelly & I also want to give thanks to our
families for that unconditional love that you
continually share. Thanks to Robbin, Kim , Kevin,
Allison and all of our staff at Seraphim. Ya'll keep us
going like none other! Thanks to "Doc" and
Judy for keeping us well. also thank you Lari for
everything, you're part of our family.
Jesus
thank you for giving us love that extends beyond our
faults and failures. Thank you for salvation I'm
overwhelmed when I think of your goodness to us. May we

Changes in life are
inevitable, such as the seasons change. Sometimes
changes are good and sometimes hard, but all are
orchestrated of the Lord. If we can get to the place
where we know that God is always on his throne, in the
good, bad, cold and warm, we can have assurance that
victory is already ours. The last song we sung before
placing my father in the ground, is the old song that
you will find on this recording, entitled, "It Is
Well". I sung that song then, but wasn't really
sure all was well, but tried to believe it. After the
blinding grief was lifted from my eyes, I can truly say
with certainty that all is well, when we place our trust
in God and in him alone. I hope the songs on here will
bring back some good memories for you as it does for me,
and that you too can know with assurance that no matter
what happens in your life that, IT IS WELL WITH YOUR
SOUL!
