Close your eyes! envision one of the first microphones ever sung or played through at the Ryman Auditorium, the long time home of the Grand Ole Opry! Imagine a 1949 Chet Atkins style electric guitar brought out of retirement, a steel guitar amp so old it's speaker cover cloth hangs in threads yet, it sings as sweet as ever as it's master plugs in the tattered cord, a change of electricity brings it back to life!

No you are not holding your typical vocal stacked, compressed, artificial sounding project you've been used to putting up with! you deserve better!!!

This one has been a long time coming.  I hope this album touches you like it has touched me.  I've selected songs that I hope will inspire faith and give you as we call it here in North Carolina "Grit!"  We all know we can do all things through Christ! Right?

I've entitled this album "Song and a Prayer."  Selected are songs of courage and with these songs I sent out a prayer that you will find here a reminder that God is still here and He cares.
