 My
name is Mike Davis. I have a southern gospel music
ministry. I’m a solo artist. I spent several years
as a successful country music artist. But in
2005, I began to be troubled by the places I played
and the lifestyle I represented even though I was a
Christian and didn’t partake in th ethings the
crowds I played for did.
But deep down I
knew God couldn’t be pleased with the places I was
playing and it was getting pretty hard for people to
see Jesus in me, as a real Christian should. I
began playing more in church again, and decided that
I had to leave the secular music business and use my
talents for the Lord.
In December of
2007, I released my first Gospel CD called
“LEAVING ON MY MIND.” It can be

. I now play only gospel music at churches and
CHRISTIAN functions. I live in the Chesapeake,
VA area, but I don’t mind traveling to obey God’s
call on my life. I’m totally satisfied that
I’m fulfilling my calling and have peace of mind
that I never had when I was playing my music in the
secular world. Pray for my ministry and that I
continue to do what is pleasing to my Jesus.
