Mark
was raised in Estill Springs, a small town in Middle
Tennessee. He began playing the guitar at the age of 10, and
picked up the fiddle at the age of 12 years old. Mark’s
professional career began at the age of 15 when he began
playing the fiddle at The WNOX Tennessee Barndance in
Knoxville, TN. A year later Mark was hired as the fiddle
player for The Smoky Mountain Jubilee in Pigeon Forge,
Tennessee. Soon, Mark was playing in recording studios all
over Eastern Tennessee on albums for many well known country
and Gospel artists such as Merle Haggard, Porter Wagoner,
Bill Anderson, Tom T. Hall, Boxcar Willie, Margo Smith, The
Fox Brothers, The Principles, Common Bond, and many more.
In 2001, Mark launched out
into full-time ministry. He moved to Louisiana and began
traveling full-time with Tommy Tenney, author of
best-selling books The GodChasers and The GodCatchers, and
founder of The GodChasers Network. For nearly two years Mark
traveled all over the world, leading the multitudes into
God’s Presence in Tommy’s services.
Since then, Mark has
played with many world-renowned worship leaders such as Ron
Kenoly, Lindell Cooley, Karen Wheaton, and the list
continues to grow. Mark has also played the violin on albums
with David and Nicole Binion, Andre Crouch, Reba Rambo
McGuire, Fred Hammond, and many more.
Mark now lives in Pigeon
Forge, TN, with his wife, Tracy, and their beautiful little
girl, Sadie. He is leading worship services in churches and
conventions all over the land. Mark’s greatest desire is to
carry the anointing all over the world, seeing souls saved,
lives changed, people entering into God’s Presence, and to
see God’s name glorified.
