Kristen Roller is a
teacher by trade and holds a Master's degree in
education. Though she began her career as a music
educator, she now works as a Literacy Coach within
the Cumberland County Schools. She has been involved
in leading Praise and Worship at Shoreline Baptist
church in Southport, NC and is a recording artist
for Pillar Music Group based in Wilmington, NC. As a
part of the Pillar ensemble she is able to travel to
various churches, conferences, and festivals and
share the Gospel in song. She also has the
opportunity to lead women's conferences with the
Women Of Pillar. As a part of the Wilmington
Celebration Choir (WCC) under the direction of Joey
Gore, she has recently participated in the backup
choir at concerts with Lynda Randle, Jesse Dixon,
Mike Allen, Mom and Pop Wynans, The Hoppers, Carmen
and Geron Davis. Most recently this choir was a part
of two Feed the Children concert specials that they
filmed with Lynda Randle, in Raleigh, NC. These will
be airing on many television networks within the
next year.
In her hometown of
Fayettesville, NC, she is a member of Fayetteville
Community Church and has participated in the choir
under the direction of Wesley Pritchard. She has
sung with this choir at Gaither Homecoming events
and Jubilate. This choir was also featured on a
recent Talley Trio DVD. Kristen was a part of the
studio singers that provided back-up-tracks for the
recording.
Most recently Kristen has
had the opportunity to provide background vocals for
Lynda Randle at the Franklin Graham festivals in,
Mobile, Al and Baltimore, MD
Kristen finished her first
recording project entitled "Beautiful Day"
in December2005. This project included three
original songs that scored highly in the 2006
Emergent Gospel Songfest. Along with her husband,
Rick, she has established Roller Ministries. This
ministry was dedicated in a special service at
Shoreline Baptist Church on January 15th, 2006.
Through this ministry they are seeking God's
guidance and direction for wisdom, and opportunities
to use their talents to effectively minister to
