I
gave my heart to Jesus as a twelve-year-old boy in the final
service of a revival at First Baptist Church in Vega, Texas
in 1938. My pastor L.E. Godwin, urged me to bring my
guitar and play in the services, and sing a solo once in a
while. I failed the Lord many times in my life, but He has
been so patient and so faithful to His Word, and it is my
desire to point all people to Him as Savior and Lord.
My wife and I are excited
about this new opportunity. It will be such a privilege to
renew many old acquaintances from years past, and to
experience the thrill of being usable in the kingdom
