I would like to introduce you to a very special person in my
life, and ministry. I would like you to meet, my manager, one
of my back-up singers, and most importantly, my best friend,
Carol Henderson. Carol was raised originally in Obion County,
all the way across the great state of Tennessee, and moved
here, to Blount County about 17 years ago. She has four great
children, all grown, Penny, James, Ken, and Renia, and six
wonderful grandchildren, and one on the way. I met Carol, and
her late husband Mike, at a church in Walland about 15 years
ago, and we hit it off from the start. Carol is a very loving,
strong, caring and devoted Christian, mother, and grandmother.
She treasured the time she spent with Mike here on earth, but
is reassured every day knowing he is walking with Jesus, in
Heaven.
Carol was
one of the first Church members we had at Anchor of Hope, when
we opened the doors, actually, from before we even opened the
doors. She has a beautiful voice, and most of all, loves using
her talent to praise and worship her Savior, Jesus Christ.
She, like me, hopes that just some where, someone will be
touched by God's word, and longs to see souls saved for the
Lord. Not only does Carol help, and back me with my music,
managers me, and sings with me, she is a full time nurse as
well, helping to deliver babies. But no matter what, and she
will tell you, God comes first in her life. I can NOT say
enough how much I love, and appreciate Carol in every thing
she has done for, and with me, and how much of a dear,
precious, best friend she is. I love, and appreciate her from
the very depths of my heart.
