I have been in the music
business for over 25 years, starting with local bands such
as The Singing Johnsons, Cleda & The Colemans, &
Avonelle & The Royal Heirs where I started recording
albums at the age of 11. I have been doing this so long, I
actually played on several "8 TRACKS" . My, how
things have changed! I traveled with The Singing Cookes and
The Cooke Brothers several years as a multi instrumentalist
for both groups playing guitar, drums, and keys. I started
recording with The Cookes in 1985 and still do the piano and
keys, as well as help with arrangements.
In 1994, I was offered the keyboard/vocalist gig with "Whiperin
Bill Anderson" on The Grand Ole Opry which I gladly
accepted. After spending a wonderful year and a half with
Bill, I was offered the keyboard /vocalist gig with Aaron
Tippin, one of country music's hottest acts. I spent the
next year and a half traveling with the Aaron Tippin show
working with so many great artists all across the US and
Canada. I have served as audio engineer/producer for Maggard
Sound, a grammy winning studio in Big Stone Gap, VA, several
sound and video companies as well as House
Engineer/Production Manager for the KY OPRY and Studio
Engineer/Manager for The Mountain Arts Center in
Prestonsburg, KY.
