 The
Diggles Family started as a part time ministry with
their first concert on August 15, 2004, at Butler
Assembly of God in Butler, NJ. They did not know at
the time God was actually preparing them for full
time ministry which has been the desire of their
hearts. On November 4, 2004, Doug lost his full time
job. The adventure God was leading his family on
took a new turn. They felt God had opened the door
leading them into full time ministry.
The Diggles Family
is lead by Doug Diggles who sings from his heart. He
had been singing for the Lord as a solo artist for
over 2 decades before his family joined him in song
forming Diggles Family Ministries. His voice is
truly anointed and when he sings you not only hear
the song, but you feel it as well. Doug enjoys
singing lead, tenor, baritone, and bass, but his
favorite part is bass. He also enjoys playing the
piano and is learning to play the guitar. Doug has
written one song which is the title track of their
album You Are My Strength. He is the Music Minister
at First Christian Church, Lexington, KY. This is a
part time position which allows the Diggles Family
to continue traveling ALL around the USA. Christina
has a wonderful ear for harmony and enjoys singing,
signing, reading, art, playing outside, and playing
the recorder and the piano. She has recently added
learning the guitar and violin to her busy schedule.
Christina has been reading and studying the Bible
for many years and can recite many chapters of
scripture. She has read through the New Testament at
least 5 times.
Katie enjoys being
able to add the third part in their family harmony.
She enjoys sign language, playing the piano, memorizing and reciting chapters of scripture,
reading, art, and playing outside. Katie is also
very excited about learning to play the violin. Her
favorite songs are the ones that include the whole
family! She loves the Lord and has joined the rest
of her family in committing her life to Jesus and
was baptized in May 6, 2007, by her daddy.
Diane brings an extra beauty to many of the songs by
interpreting them through sign language. She also
runs the sound board, handles most of the booking,
and does the computer work for the ministry
including creating and maintaining their website.
Diane and Doug
love homeschooling their girls and spending so much
time together. Diggles Family Ministries, Inc. is a
true family ministry. They work, play, sing, travel,
school, and minister together as a Family.
The Diggles
Family, full time Southern Gospel recording artists,
widely known for their tight family harmony and
unique blend of Southern Gospel and light
contemporary music continue to bless people across
the USA. Having sung in more than 20 states in just
three years their reputation for presenting a
quality, uplifting, Christ filled service is quickly
spreading. Hearts are touched as Christina and Katie
sing with their father in three part harmony and
recite chapters of scripture from memory. The
incredible range and power of Doug Diggles’ voice
sooths the soul, and Diane brings an extra depth to
the songs she interprets through sign language. The
Diggles Family is using their God given talents to
serve their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
