The Austin Family is a family group of gospel
singers from Ligonier, PA committed to spreading the
gospel through song and testimony.
All the members are
"Born Again" believers in Christ Jesus and
all agree the He is the most important member of
their group.
The group consists of Dean
Hays (he helps with the sound and is the mechanic
for the bus.) Dot Hays (Gabby, sings second soprano
and tenor and is the spokesperson and bus driver for
the group.) Linda Hays Dyekman, (is the alto singer
for the group). Melissa (Missy Austin (is the lead
singer for the group and shares the spokesperson
duties with Dot, she is also the contact person for
the group). Bob Austin (soundman and drives the bus
as well.) Katie Austin (is the young daughter of Bob
and Missy and also sings lead and tenor, she also
does some beautiful solo numbers including the
popular gospel song "Jesus Take The
Wheel." Gared Austin (is the young son of Bob
and Missy, he sings lead. He and Katie and Linda
sing trio numbers.
The Group is available on a
free-will offering basis, and will travel wherever
and whenever possible because it is their desire to
share Jesus Christ with others through song and
testimony.
