 The Atkins Family has been serving God through music for over 30
years. The group today consists of Tim and Teresa Atkins. Just like Tim
sang on sage with his Dad, he is getting the pleasure of standing on stage with
two of his sons and grandsons, night after night. Tim wears many hats for the
group, which includes Bus driver, soundman and bass singer. Teresa has been
blessed with the gift of Songwriting, some of her songs include, My Blood Flows
for You, Someone who Cares, and a catchy tune, Don't Let Go. Teresa sings alto
for the group. Tim and Teresa have been married for 28 years, and were blessed
with threes sons, Jamie, Jason and Jeremy.
Jamie the oldest son of the Tim and Teresa is the road manager
and bass player for the group, he also sings on a few songs. He is joined on
stage with his wife Crystal and two sons Austin age 5 and Aaron age 3. Crystal
sings high alto and takes care of our product table.
Jason the middle son is a talented young singer, songwriter, and
preacher; he also does all the emcee work at our concerts. Several of Jason's
songs have been recorded by other artists. Jason is married to Susan and has one
daughter Hannah.
Steven Bishop plays drums for the Atkins Family, and takes care
of some of the office work. Steven and Jamie have played in several local groups
together and count it a joy, to be back on stage together. Steven is married to
Stacy and has two boys, Tyler age 5 and Seth age 3. The Atkins Family travels
across the country, going wherever the door is opened. The goal of the Atkins
Family is to see souls saved and lives touched with their music.
