 God
has a way of opening doors, when you are serious about
serving Him. This is what happened when “All Four Him”
began.
We come from a small town in South Carolina named Six Mile.
We all had enjoyed singing in church through the years, but
it was a answered prayer when Ronnie Cannon, my nephew,
Sharon Davis, my sister, and I (Wanda Harden) started the
group. We would sing at mom and dad’s house every chance
we had, then Ronnie’s mom, Brenda Cannon, started buying
music for us to sing.
We would sit around and
discuss names for our group, never imaging that God would
not only give us a name that fits so perfectly, but also
begin to open the doors He wanted us to go through, so the
name “All Four Him” was given to the group.
We sang as a trio for a
year or so after the group began in October 2003, then we
asked Chad Smith of Salem, South Carolina to join us. He too
is a dedicated child of God with one purpose, to be a
witness for Jesus Christ and to sing praises to His
wonderful name. That’s the soul purpose of our group.
Looking back over the past
three years, we can see how the hand of God has been with
our group. We have been given the ability to write most of
our songs, and we have started to record our first CD, with
the project title, "In Jesus Name". Hopefully we
will have this ready soon.
Our prayer is that some
lost soul or troubled heart will be touched by our music.
Psalms 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even
praise unto our God; many shall see it, and fear, and shall
trust in the Lord.
God has placed us where we
are today, and we thank Him and praise His Holy Name.
