 For
as long as they can remember they have been singing southern
gospel music. As children they would go to bed listening to
a stack of records on the record player. They would fall
asleep listening to the music of "The Happy Goodman's,
Rambo's, Lanny Wolf Trio, Bill Gaither, and many, many more.
Southern gospel music runs deep in their roots and once
southern gospel music gets in your bones, you are never the
same!
With
their father (Ross Green) being an "old time preacher
man" and their mother ( Shirley Green) singing like
Vestal Goodman there was nothing that this family could do
but sing, sing, sing. In the 70's the family traveled the
country and were known as the "Singing Green's".
They recorded several albums and then their father settled
down to pastor. But the family would still sing at special
events. To pastor Green there was no more special event than
his children coming together and singing. There was nothing
he enjoyed more. With six children who could sing and play
instruments, he knew he could have a concert anytime,
anywhere. In 1989
Ross Green went home to be with his lord and savior. But his
memory lives on through his children’s ministry.
Now
Brenda Denney, Elaine parks, and Steve Green, (two sisters
and their brother) have come together once again to carry
the torch and do what god has called them to do. Sing. It is
their desire to sing and minister to people and expect lives
to be changed by the ministry they've heard. You will feel
the anointing as this trio blesses you with their music. You
will love their southern gospel style, close family harmony
and the fun that comes with this trio.
Their
mission is for everyone that hears their songs to leave a
changed person and to realize the power in southern gospel
music. And for people to want more of God in their lives.
There's something about hearing a southern gospel song that
sends little "do dads" all over you.
Get
