Eddie
and Steve first shared a stage in Worship in the
early 1990's while singing with a local Southern
Gospel Quartet. After the disbanding of the quartet
both men went their separate ways. Their paths would
again cross in 2001 while working together. 2 For 1
began in October of 2001 when Eddie asked Steve if
he would like to sing at his church. Steve accepted,
and during the time until the singing, Steve asked
Eddie if he wanted to get together and sing some
songs they used to sing while singing together with
the Freedom Quartet. They did and the rest is, as
they say "history." The friendship and
admiration was still there for both men. As the
friendship strengthened, so did their desire to once
again seek Gods Perfect Will in their lives. After
much Prayer the two men seemed to come to the
conclusion that the Lord was leading them towards
once again sharing in Worship through song. This was
not a decision they were making together but
something they were Praying about on their own. When
the opportunity presented itself for the two men to
sing together, their Prayers were answered and the
Lords Will became much clearer. Since that evening
in October of 2001, the two men have shared in
Worship with thousands of people and seen the Lord
do great things. These men are truly in the center
of the Lords Perfect Will.
